Why Movement-Based Care Matters
Movement disorders and other neurologic conditions affect far more than a single symptom — they change how a person walks, balances, and moves through daily life. Medication and procedures are only part of the picture. At Neurology Solutions, physician-directed exercise and movement support are a standing part of how we manage these conditions over time, not an occasional add-on.
Who This Program Is For
This program is designed for patients managing:
- Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders
- Gait impairment
- Balance problems
- Deconditioning
- Neuropathy
- Chronic neurologic disability
If a neurologic condition has changed how you move, this program is built to help you regain and maintain function as part of a physician-directed care plan.
How the Program Works
Physician-Directed, Individualized Programming
Every movement program starts with a physician-led evaluation of your specific condition, symptoms, and goals. Your plan is built around what you actually need — not a standardized routine — and is adjusted as your condition and function change over time.
Delivered By Our Clinical Team
Your program is carried out day-to-day by our clinical assistants and certified trainer, delivered under physician direction.
Movement support isn’t planned separately from the rest of your care — it’s coordinated within your overall neurologic treatment plan. If your medications are adjusted, or if you have a deep brain stimulation (DBS) device that’s being programmed or fine-tuned, your exercise and movement recommendations can evolve alongside those changes. In the same way, your program is revisited as your symptoms change over time, so movement support stays aligned with the rest of your care rather than running on a separate track.
Exercise Programming for Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders
For Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders, exercise is one of the most consistently supported ways to help manage symptoms over time. Programming may include large-amplitude movement training, repetition-based practice, and gait and balance work, shaped around the specific way your condition affects movement.
Because no two patients experience a movement disorder the same way, your program is built individually rather than following a fixed template.
Neuromodulation & NEUBIE Sessions
For appropriate patients, we also offer NEUBIE® neuromuscular training — a non-invasive neuromodulation approach that communicates directly with the nervous system to support muscle activation and motor control. Sessions are delivered by a certified NEUBIE trainer, with the approach directed by a neurologist.
What This Program Is — and Isn’t
This program centers on physician-directed exercise and movement support, delivered by our clinical team as an integrated part of your neurologic care. For many patients, that’s the right fit on its own. For others, depending on your specific condition, licensed physical therapy may also be a good complement — and when that’s the case, we’re glad to help coordinate that care alongside what we provide here, so your treatment stays connected rather than fragmented.
