Your career runs on your brain — on focus, memory, judgment, and the stamina to sustain them under pressure, year after year. Executive Brain Health is a neurologist-led way to protect the cognitive performance your work depends on, and the long-term brain health behind it. At Neurology Solutions, it is part of our broader Brain Health & Healthy Aging program. It is not biohacking, not a nootropic regimen, and not an “executive wellness” package. Brain health is not a wellness trend to us. It is neurology, applied early.
You do not need a problem to begin. The executives we care for are usually performing well and intend to keep it that way — protecting decision-making and cognitive stamina now, and their brain health for the decades ahead. If that is you, this is where that work starts: with a physician who understands the brain, and a program built to fit a demanding schedule — private, and followed over years.
Why a neurologist? Because cognitive performance is a neurological question. The difference between ordinary fatigue and an early, treatable problem — and the factors that quietly erode focus and memory over a career — are clinical judgments, not a supplement or a wearable.
Performance, Not Hype
The market aimed at high performers is loud — supplement stacks, “cognitive enhancement,” biohacking protocols, and executive-wellness bundles. Our approach is different because it is medicine, directed by a neurologist, and built to last a career rather than chase a trend:
- Not biohacking. This is clinical care grounded in evidence and your own health, not self-experimentation or the protocol of the month.
- Not nootropics. We do not sell a pill for focus. Where something has genuine evidence and fits your clinical picture, we say so; where it does not, we say that too.
- Not “cognitive enhancement.” The goal is not an artificial edge. It is protecting and sustaining the real cognitive capacity you already rely on — and safeguarding it for the long term.
- Not executive wellness. This is not a spa add-on to a physical. It is neurology — a physician-directed plan for your brain, delivered with the discretion you expect and re-measured as your demands change.
What Executives Actually Need to Protect
High performance is not one trait. It is a set of cognitive capacities that a demanding career draws down daily — and that a neurologist can help you protect and sustain.
Decision-making & judgment
The quality of your decisions is the product you sell. Protecting the executive functions behind sound judgment — working memory, attention, and impulse control — is central to how we think about your brain.
Focus & cognitive stamina
Sustained focus across long days and long years is a finite resource that can be protected. When focus or stamina slips, we look for the clinical reasons — sleep, metabolic health, stress physiology — rather than reaching for a stimulant.
Memory & recall
Names, numbers, context, commitments — reliable recall underpins credibility. We help you protect it, establish a baseline, and tell the difference between an overloaded schedule and something that warrants a closer look.
Resilience & long-term performance
The real goal is not a good quarter — it is staying sharp and capable for the whole arc of your career and beyond. That is healthy aging applied to a high-performing brain: resilience now, and function and independence for the decades to come.
The Systems Behind Performance
Cognitive performance is not willpower — it rests on a few physiological systems that either sustain the brain or quietly erode it. We assess and support each as part of a single, physician-directed plan. Rather than repeat the detail here, we point you to the parts of our program that go deep on each:
- Sleep & brain health — the single biggest lever on focus, memory consolidation, and decision quality. For most executives, it is where the largest gains are.
- Metabolic brain health — blood sugar, blood pressure, and body composition drive energy, stamina, and long-term cognitive risk.
- Cognitive longevity — the long-term work of protecting memory and thinking over decades, including your cognitive baseline and the factors most tied to how the brain ages.
Your executive plan draws on all three, prioritized around your highest-impact risks.
Who This Is For
This care is for people whose work demands a lot of their brain and who intend to protect that capacity deliberately:
Executives & founders
Leaders whose decisions carry weight and who want their cognitive capacity protected as deliberately as their health.
Professionals & knowledge workers
Those whose livelihood depends on focus, memory, and judgment and who feel the cost when any of them slips.
High performers protecting the long game
People at the top of their field who want to stay sharp and capable well beyond the years most people plan for.
How Executive Brain Health Care Works Here
1. A thorough, efficient baseline. We start by understanding you fully — your history, your goals, and objective measures of how your brain and body are performing — and establish a baseline, with a process designed to respect your time.
2. A personalized, physician-directed plan. From there, Dr. Izor builds a plan around your highest-impact priorities — most often sleep, metabolic health, and the long-term factors covered in our other programs. It is specific and evidence-informed, not a template or a product.
3. Followed over years, with discretion. Performance is protected over years, not in a single visit. Your plan is followed and adjusted as results and demands change, with the discretion your role requires — in Austin and by telehealth in Texas and Florida.
Backed by Real Neurological Authority
The credibility of a brain-health program depends entirely on who is behind it. Neurology Solutions is led by Robert M. Izor, MD, MS — a board-certified neurologist, fellowship-trained in movement disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation, who completed his neurology residency at UT Health Science Center Houston as Chief Resident, holds an MS in Molecular Immunology, is a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, and is affiliated with St. David’s Medical Center. Two decades caring for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other complex neurological conditions has taught us what helps the brain remain resilient, functional, and independent over time.
Executive Brain Health: Common Questions
Is this cognitive enhancement or nootropics?
No. We are not offering an artificial edge or a supplement stack. This is physician-led care focused on protecting and sustaining the real cognitive capacity you already have, and safeguarding your brain for the long term.
I’m performing fine — is it too early?
No — performing well is exactly the right time. A baseline is most useful while you are at your best, and the factors that protect long-term performance are most effective when addressed early.
What actually makes the biggest difference?
For most executives, sleep and metabolic health are the largest levers, alongside the long-term factors in cognitive longevity. We prioritize your plan around the ones with the most impact for you — see sleep, metabolic brain health, and cognitive longevity.
Is it discreet, and does it respect my time?
Yes. The program is built for people who cannot spend a week being worked up — private, efficient, and available by telehealth where licensure permits. A neurologist decides what to change first, so your effort goes to the two things that matter rather than a list of ten.
Is this part of concierge membership, and can I use my insurance?
Yes to both, and they are separate things. Your medical care is billed to your insurance or Medicare in the usual way, and you pay your normal copay or deductible. Membership provides the structured brain-health program: a neurologist deciding which changes matter most for you and which comes first, the support to put them into practice, and the measurement that shows whether they worked — non-covered services that work alongside your medical care. Membership is not insurance and does not replace it. Many members use HSA or FSA funds; check with your plan administrator.
Care is available in Austin and by telehealth in Texas and Florida.
