At Neurology Solutions in Austin, Texas, we accept Medicare, as well as some Medicare Advantage and commercial insurance plans. However, we understand patients may choose to pay directly for our services. Below, you’ll find transparent and detailed cash-pay pricing for treatment at our clinic.

Payment Terms:

Payment is due when services are rendered. An estimate for injection drugs will be provided before your appointment. If any additional injection drugs are needed to complete your treatment, you will be charged after your visit.

All visits include your time with the provider and other necessary activities related to your treatment, such as chart review, chart notes, injection preparation, etc.

Description: New Patient Package includes two visits to establish comprehensive care 

  • The first visit will be a 45-minute introductory telemedicine visit with one of our advanced providers and support staff to discuss and document medical complaints, past medical history, and begin the process of requesting pertinent medical records if not yet available for staff review.
     
  • The second visit will be a 1-hour in-office visit with our Movement Disorders Neurologist to include a review of pertinent history and records, neurological examination, and to create and initiate a plan of care including appropriate orders and prescriptions.

Pre-Op or Post-Op DBS Lead Placement/Targeting Evaluation, New or Established Patient 
Provider: Movement Disorders Neurologist (MD)
Rate: $500/hour in 15-minute increments* 
Minimum: 4 hours ($2000)

Description: The DBS Lead Placement Evaluation Package includes 3 visits tailored toward candidates motivated toward DBS surgery or patients who are experiencing disappointing outcomes from DBS surgery. Comprehensive analysis will include assessment of preoperative image quality (when available) and/or postoperative imaging loaded onto Stealth Navigation software exclusively available in the operating room. Surgical planning will be performed to illustrate the safest trajectory and angle to target for maximal benefit with the least risk for side effects. 

Remote Intraoperative DBS Surgical Support Add-On, Established Patient 
Provider: Movement Disorders Neurologist (MD)
Rate: $500/hour in 15-minute increments* 
Minimum: 5 hours ($2500)

Description: The Remote Intraoperative DBS Surgical Support Package provides video telemedicine remote analysis and support to the neurosurgeon and neurosurgical team during Stage I DBS implantation procedures.  Services include cross-checking and finalizing of the surgical plan with the neurosurgical team before the case begins, recommendations during frame-locking to the intended target, analysis of microelectrode recordings, microelectrode stimulation and neurophysiological testing, repositioning of microelectrode to a more optimal location when appropriate, and final DBS lead placement optimization. Recommendations will be documented before and during the case, however the neurosurgeon makes all final decisions during the surgery. 

Hybrid Intraoperative Remote and On-Site DBS Surgical Support Add-On, Established Patient 
Provider: Movement Disorders Neurologist (MD)
Rate: $600/hour in 15-minute increments* 
Minimum: 6 hours ($3600)
