Dr. Robert Izor will present “Energy & Metabolism Management in Parkinson’s” at the Dallas Area Parkinson Society’s (DAPS) 2026 Keep Living Well Symposium, joining a multidisciplinary lineup of physicians and specialists for a day of education focused on living well with Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Izor’s presentation will explore how metabolic enhancement — addressing nutrition, mitochondrial health, and lifestyle-driven dysfunction — plays a role in managing Parkinson’s disease alongside traditional treatment approaches. He’ll also touch on how structured, physician-directed movement and exercise support complement metabolic strategies as part of a comprehensive care plan.
The symposium’s full agenda spans a range of Parkinson’s topics presented by physicians and specialists from across North Texas, including care partner support, fall risk reduction, and advances in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy.
