For New Patients

Table of Contents

Many of our new patients first come to us after receiving a movement disorder diagnosis from another doctor, either their Primary Care Physician or a different type of doctor. These patients will sometimes have a referral to see us.

Other patients come to us without having received a diagnosis from another doctor. Many of these patients are exhibiting signs and symptoms that they suspect may indicate a movement disorder. For these patients, we will typically make the initial diagnosis as part of our evaluation and treatment.

How to Make an Appointment With Us as a New Patient

If you would like to establish care at Neurology Solutions as a new patient, you must begin the process at Step 1 below by calling us at 512-977-7000, ext. 115, or contact form submittal. We can’t schedule your appointment as a new patient until we have completed Steps 1-5 listed below. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Step 1 — Contact our Scheduling Department

If you are a new patient that we’ve never seen before, you must get in touch with our scheduling department before you do anything else.

Contact Our Scheduling Department by Phone or Form Submittal:

    • By Phone:
Dial 512-977-7000 and select option ‘007.’ Leave a message with your name and a good number to reach you. Our scheduler will call you back.
    • By Contact Form Submittal:
Click the button below and fill out the form. Our scheduler will call you at the phone number you provide.

Step 2 — We Make Sure Your Case Is a Good Fit

When our scheduler calls you back, the first order of business is to determine if your case is a good fit to be treated at our clinic (based on your diagnosis or signs/symptoms you’re exhibiting).

Step 4 — We Check Your Insurance

Once we determine that your case is a good fit, the next step is to check your insurance to make sure we accept your carrier’s plan. See below for a current list of insurance plans that we do / do not accept.

Step 5 — New Information Packet and Medical Records

After we confirm the insurance, every prospective patient must complete and submit our New Patient Information Packet. (Use this link to go to the Information Packet webpage). Prospective patients must also forward any pertinent medical records to our office.

Step 6 — We Schedule Your First Appointment

After we receive and process your patient packet, we’ll reach back out to you to schedule your first appointment
